Although to date there have not been very many French Bulldogs rescues through our club, we expect that number to rise as the breed becomes more popular. If you know of a French Bulldog in Canada that is in need of rescue please contact Deborah Alce immediately at (519) 229-6546 or email to Rescue and we will be there.

UPDATE - The Rescue application is in PDF format. Those of you with the Free Adobe Acrobat reader will not be able to fill out the form and email it in. In that case we're attaching both the PDF and DOC formats for your convenience. We've been receiving a lot of blank rescue apps.

Peanut

Rescue update:

FBFC welcomes a new little girl to our care! Her name is Peanut.

Peanut is a five year old spayed female French bulldog that loves cuddles and playing with her stuffies. She is friendly with cats, children and dogs but does like to be the boss dog so she would do best sharing her home with a more submissive doggy companion. Peanut does have some rear leg weakness but she does not have any difficulties with mobility other than a bit of an odd gait. It does not slow her down at all and she enjoys her walks and outdoor outings. If you are interested in applying for Peanut or finding out more about her, please complete an application and email one of our rescue contacts.

Gigi

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone GIGI has found her forever home

MEET GIGI
Gigi is a six year old cream, spayed female french bulldog looking for her forever home.
She is a sweet, affectionate little girl that enjoys car rides and lots of attention.
She has allergies which affect her skin and ears from time to time so will require a special diet and regular veterinary attention. Gigi also likes to be 'top dog', so she would do best in a situation where she is an only pet or as a companion to another submissive dog or two. Although she has lived with children, we think it would be best to place her in a home without youngsters as she is demanding of time and attention and this is more difficult for those with young families.
